I like that you can customize any little thing, and the graphs are great looking. My only complaint is that you can't label the x-axis with multiples of pi (using the pi symbol). I don't know if TI has a version for Mac, though.Katehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14229054922453438248noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8748665016211866969.post-18714877159508532632009-03-10T06:42:00.000-07:002009-03-10T06:42:00.000-07:00Thanks, Kate and Sam! I've used Grapher until now, and found scaling the axes to be tricky there too.H.https://www.blogger.com/profile/00155248585975222332noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8748665016211866969.post-218827210937887642009-03-09T20:10:00.000-07:002009-03-09T20:10:00.000-07:00Thanks for posting your worksheets. I might steal one when we get to exponential functions!

As for the problem with finding a good program to create graphs, even though it has a high learning curve, if you have a PC, I highly recommend winplot.

I use it to create all my graphs. I really appreciate the fact that you can create dashed gridlines. It really helps the kids too.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8748665016211866969.post-30097376266029841022009-03-09T11:11:00.000-07:002009-03-09T11:11:00.000-07:00Thanks for sharing the worksheets. I try to tell students that fractions are their friends (look - we can just write 7 over 2 and we don't even need to divide! How easy is that!) and they look at me as if I'm out of my mind.H.https://www.blogger.com/profile/00155248585975222332noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8748665016211866969.post-14461814577206961712009-03-08T19:43:00.000-07:002009-03-08T19:43:00.000-07:00Yay for keeping your promise to post this weekend!...Yay for keeping your promise to post this weekend! I'm hoping I'll start up again in the next week...

I like the way you keep working with fractions as numbers. Fractions are such scary things. ;-)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
